Last night of my vacation. Sucks to be going back to work; feels like I just got out of there, but its been 10 nights, and I don't really see how I could have done more. I might have blown my brains out from boredom :)

Didn't do a whole lot for my vacation. Like always, I sat home and chilled, wallowing in the laziness of not having a set schedule. Got up when I wanted, went to bed whenever, played games, and just did as I wanted for 10 glorious days.

Now reality is reasserting itself, which sucks balls. I'm forcing myself to stay awake all night so as to get back on my overnight schedule. Nothing wrong with that, other than its not really *my* choice, but a dictate of the reality of my job.

So anyways it was fun while it lasted; had a decent enough 32nd birthday, so it's all good I suppose.

The Chinese calender says that year was the year of the Rabbit, and the element for the year was Fire. The date places that day in Scorpio, a Water element. Both signs are prideful, stubborn, competitive, and extremely loyal and compassionate.

Water tends to work in opposition to fire, making for a feeling of polar opposites, and some other details of my full horoscope are in opposition to my nature, but all that inconsistency, all the struggle, and all traits, *are* part of me.

I like myself, though just as most others, there are aspects of myself I would like to change. But of the whole, I *like* who I am, and I do not want to become someone else.

Today I turned 32 years of age, and I am good with that :)

So here I go again with the B-day stuffs.

My roommate antimon got me Season 1 of Stargate Atlantis on DVD, which is awesome, but also got me 3 Michael art commissions which I placed in the art gallery here on LJ as well as putting them up for LJ icons. They were done by Mendix, and are awesome!



Im still going out to dinner tonight, and again friday night so things are looking great for my 31st! Go me!
